General Description The birch tree comes from North America but migrated east to Europe and Asia. Its bark, leaves, and flowers have all been used to treat skin conditions such as acne and psoriasis. The oil from this tree has a similar wintergreen smell to it and can be used to create candy flavourings as well as soap fragrances.
