General Description
For centuries Nutmeg has been used as a remedy for digestive problems. The oil is primarily used as a flavoring agent for both the food and beverage as well as the pharmaceutical industry. The so called East Indian Nutmeg is native to Indonesia and Sri Lanka and is considered superior. Distillation also takes place in Europe and the USA from imported Nutmeg. Pregnant women should use with care and moderation.

How It's Made
The dried seeds are steam distilled to produce the oil.
